Drivers Ed Tests

Author: Jimmy Sturo

Many websites provide interactive online driver education courses with study guides along with practice tests. They have practice tests and quiz questions for new drivers. This forms a unique teaching tool, as it tends to keep the student involved and not bored with the reading.

The reader can study question by question or go for a full test at the end of a chapter or the whole study guide. The website tracks the score of the practice tests so as to enable the student know the final score after each section or the final test, letting the student know the sections that need to be revised before tackling the final exam. When the student prefers to study question by question, buttons are usually provided on the screen to check the reference material in case of doubts. Some websites also provide simulation tests that are similar to the main exam.

Practice tests help in building the student's confidence and boost the morale right before the main DMV exam. These websites are mostly free, but they can be used only to enhance the knowledge obtained and are not intended to replace a driver manual or driver's education material.

This knowledge usually assists to become a safe driver rather than a top scorer in the exam, since the questions may not be exactly the same as those provided by the DMV. The exam paper provided by the DMV is confidential and is not given out to the public as practice exams, even in the material provided by the DMV itself.
