I am not some high priced guru or big time ebook writer. I am just an "average Joe" who owns an online business. Nothing fancy, but it makes me income. It wasn't always like that. I struggled a long time. I read all the popular ebooks. I took all the popular ecourses. I attended the seminars put on by all the super duper seminar speakers. I was learning all the "online secrets" taught by the "experts". Yet I was getting nowhere. I had all this internet knowldge, but I still wasn't making money online. I now realize I had what's called "information overload". Ever ebook I read didn't take me closer to my goal of making money online. In fact, it confused the heck out of me. I'd read one ebook, and the guru who wrote the book told me to do x-y-z and then I'd make money online. I read another ebook from another guru and he told me to do something completely differant and then I'd be making money online. All These ebooks and ecourses had one thing in common-they told me WHAT to do, but not HOW to do it. They told me I needed to get a website, they told me I needed to get a great salespage. They told me I needed to get traffic to my site. Great. Now what? Again, these ebooks and ecourses taught me WHAT to do, but they didn't show me HOW to do it. And that was the reason I was stuck and not making money online. Noone showed me how to do it! One day I sat down and had it out with myself. I got clear about my goals. I realized that I wanted a business that would make money online. That's really what I wanted. I didn't care about doing anything else online. I just wanted to create an income. I believe that when you focus on the something, the universe opens up and shows you the way. I came across an ebook written by a 17 year old high school kid. I read it. I knew right away it was what I was looking for. Why? Because it was written in a step-by-step fashion. It told me HOW to do it, not just WHAT to do. It showed a simple 1-2-3 system. I followed the instructions step-by-step, and I had my own online business within an hour. What made the differance? I was shown step-by-step how to do it, and I followed a simple 1-2-3 plan. The key is to focus on what you want. Get clear about it. Go off alone somewhere. Bring a pen and paper. Start writing. Don't complicate it. Make it simple. Once you figure out what you want, the doors will open. |
