Drummer's Supplements for Health - Protect Hearing and Immune System - Help Coordination

Author: Fred Fishburne

A strong immune system is a must for drummers. Working conditions can take a toll on overall health if the immune system is not strong. It is not hard to keep the immune system combat ready. The first thing for a strong immune system is a good Mult-Vitamin/Mineral Complex with plenty of antioxidants. Grapeseed Extract and Vitiman C can be taken in addition to a multi for added protection.

Supplements to protect hearing are also very important for drummers. I have never known a deaf drummer. So protect you hearing at all cost. Ginkgo Biloba, Vitamin B-12 and Vitamin E are great supplements to add to a mulit-vitamin/mineral complex to protect from hearing loss. One of the best things a drummer can do for hearing is correct posture while playing. Try slumping over while playing and then sit up with you head over your shoulders and notice the difference in what you can hear. When you slump you limit the oxygen to the brain and the ears are an extension to the brain.

Supplements for the joints and structural system are advised due to the massive amount of joint movement all over the body. Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin Sulfate are the three most popular for healthy joints. Vitamin C is also helpful to prevent inflammation.

Supplements for the nervous system are needed in order to stay calm and relaxed for long periods of time. This includes supplements to keep muscles relaxed. Two supplements that are very important for the nervous system are B-Complex and magnesium.

Supplements for coordination will be a great plus for drummers as well. The brain is mostly fat and water. Omega 3 fish oils play an important part in over all brain health, therefore, would be a good choice to keep coordination sharp. Be sure that you are drinking half your body weight in ounces of pure water daily. Because B Vitamins are so important to the nervous system, a B Complex is also important for coordination.

Drummers are in the public eye, so looking and being fit is a no brainer. Two all in one supplements, Monster Stack Pack and Nitro Stack Pack are gems of convenience for busy body builders. They provide every thing for build building in one packet. This is the way to go. There is no way to beat the price for what is in the packets.
