Network Marketing and MLM Interview - I Like My Job But Can I Keep It?

Author: Michael Fowler

Have you ever contacted a prospect for your Network Marketing or MLM business who told you that they were happy with their current position? I mean a person who actually likes their job? My meeting of the first one last month, after many years of speaking with people, nearly had me speechless. Now thats not a normal position. I mean me being speechless.

Upon further investigation though, I learned that my prospect had a very deep rooted fear. In a word, it was called surplus to requirements the new name for get ready to go or you are nearly fired. The guy was 59 and had been with the firm for over 34 years. Never missed a days work in his life. Now they were getting ready to dispose of him, like a piece of trash that you discard in the garbage can.

Now I have noticed something over the last few years. Older people are finally getting involved with network marketing and mlm distribution. In many cases, it is out of sheer desperation of job loss. Others are looking for a new career break because their age is prohibitive in finding another job and another breed are coming into the Industry because they are taking early retirement and want something to do with their time.

I know we call them baby boomers because of the rapid increase in birth rates shortly after World War Two, but look at the state of most developed countries today. There is a positive shortage of young people. Todays society is too fast paced and too expensive to sustain relationships and face the extra burden of having kids. There will be a definite shortfall in state pensions and social security within the next 10 years.

Now here is something to think about. With increased mechanization and a shortage of jobs already, who is going to employ todays youth and supply our state pension and social security? With a drop in population figures, those goods are not going to be required in the quantity they are today. So, perhaps the Network Marketing and MLM Industries are about the only safe options left, or soon will be.

As giant corporations take hold and make more people redundant, things are going to get even worse. Have you noticed that new self-service checkouts are now being developed?

How the giants of the food industry are now taking over everything, from Insurance to Medicine, Clothes, Health Care and Car Sales. Even selling your home is now possible through these giants of industry. Where does it end?

Let me tell you. You will eventually have a choice of two options. Either you work for them, at the price they want to pay you, or you decide to opt-out of the rat race and do something for yourself in the Network Marketing or MLM Industry, where they cannot reach you. Become an untouchable and get started right away, because tomorrow is approaching fast and your likeable job is at serious risk.
